VISION & MISSION
TIMMIES; aim high(er) to gain business success, great opportunities and leading innovation
The ICT Industry needs change, transformation and innovation. From cowboys, to Indians to chiefs! Because of today's climate pressure (economics and regulations) on today's IT Leaders, fundamental projects and even mindset. This mindset, the Drive to Innovate, is weakening by the minute. Nearly all emotional energy has been spend on sub optimalization of basics such as infrastructure and automation. Discussions within the boardroom are more and more about Capex/Opex, Risk and Costs Savings. But the world is changing rapidly. Technologies are now driving business opportunities more than just process changes. Creativity today is seen as equal to high risk. We use technology to do less. Why not change the attitude and give more (service)? The real risk is that the world will slow down just because of lack of vision, drive and willingness of visionary people to accelerate beyond what is required and requested from ‘stakeholders' point of view. ICT still means a rational cost centre for companies directed by Finance & Control functions. Led by fear to explore, to make mistakes, do things differently; to motivate and even to develop innovative talents for the future and leadership for today, CIO Magazine introduces the TIMMIES. To go further where others stop and to give more fun to the workflow. TIMMIES make your aim higher to gain business success and demonstrate the power of Innovation!
Three TIM categories will beawarded for performance over 2011:
The most Innovative Leader
