The winners of the CIO of the Year Award 2011!

The CIO of the Year Award aims to give recognition to the best performing CIO in that year. The CIO of Year 2011 is expected to have shown constant top performance in running the IT function, achieving major improvements to the business or even enabling new business models, delivering outstanding project results and being a recognized leader with vision and strong people management skills. We are looking for "The Most I5 Chief" as the CIO of the Year 2011! This years Award will be presented on the CIO Day 2011 on the 15th of November 2011 by HRH Prince Bernhard van Oranje-Nassau.

The CIO of the Year Award 2011 is based on a well founded criteria process. The process and criteria have been developed over the past four year together with The CIO Platform Nederland (CIO platform of top 100 organizations in NL), CIO Magazine and Research organisations: The Boston Consulting Group and Qhuba.

Jury of the CIO of the Year Award
The Jury of the CIO of the Year Award consist out of:

	Prince Bernhard van Oranje-Naussau, CEO Levi9, Chairman CIO of the Year Award.		René Steenvoorden, Director Group ICT & CIO Rabobank, Chairman CIO Platform.		Arjen Dorland, VP & CIO Downstream Shell, CIO of the Year 2009.
	Prof. Dr. Marcel Creemers, Nyenrode Business School.		Hanno Ketterer, Partner Boston Consulting Group.		Rob Beijleveld, Publisher CIO Magazine, Organiser CIO Day.

Jury support team: Tjibbe van der Zeeuw - Qhuba, Jonathan Koopmans - BCG, Hotze Zijlstra - CIO Magazine.

1. Pre-selection of a total of 100 pre-nominees.
2. Invitation pre-nominees to cooperate at an in depth web questionnaire by The Boston Consulting Group.
3. Results of the web questionnaire will be measured and ranked by The Boston Consulting Group
4. The top 10 nominees will be chosen based on the received results of the web questionnaire and the Jury will be informed and advised.
5. Personal validation interviews with top 10 nominees and personal assessment by Qhuba and S-TM: dat verandert de zaak!
6. Validation interviews (calls) with internal Business Partner of the CIO by The Boston Consulting Group, Qhuba, S-TM: dat verandert de zaak! & CIO Magazine.
7. CIO Magazine will interview and publish an article on the top 10 nominees.
8. Jury will invite the top 5 nominees for a meeting in October, 2011.
9. Jury will elect the CIO of the Year 2011
10. The CIO of the Year Award will be presented by HRH Prince Bernhard van Oranje-Nassau (Chairman of the Jury) on the CIO Day 2011, 15^th of November.
11. The CIO of the Year 2011 will be on the cover of CIO Magazine edition December and the final election feedback will be published in this edition as well.
